Budget coastal bedroom

In this project, our client was looking for a few design improvements to give this bedroom a much needed facelift.  The bedroom lacked personality and despite being smaller in size, was not warm or inviting. The goal was to transform this room into a calm, serene and cozy space all while sticking to a budget. 

We got started by moving the bed which was originally pushed against a wall to the middle of the room, which helped warm up the space and eliminate any feelings of being cramped. To create a serene setting, we opted for a coastal look which not only offers relaxing vibes, but was also a nod to the home’s beach neighbourhood. The curated white-washed rattan nightstand along with the muted lamp contributed to the overall look, while its larger size worked well to not dwarf the space. A beautiful tree branch offers a unique way to hang clothes and accessories while woven baskets and jute rug tie the entire room nicely together in a warm and cozy way.
